How to Clean your Dishwasher

To ensure you have a hygienic appliance it is recommended to clean your dishwasher on a regular basis.

  1. Remove and clean the filter (check manufacturer’s advice) in hot, soapy water, using a brush if necessary. The filter can be found at the bottom of the cavity and can easily be taken out and replaced again.
  2. Spin the spray arms to make sure they are rotating freely, check there are not any obstructions in the spray holes, which can get blocked. If they are blocked, unscrew the spray arm and clean it in the sink with warm soapy water. You may need to run the spray arm under the tap and use a cocktail stick to get any small piece of food residue free.
  3. Dishwashers require a regular cleaning program run to ensure results stay the same as when the appliance was new. If you have routinely done this before then we recommend this Super Care product.
