Fixing your Oven Door

If your oven door is not closing properly, you may want to consider calling a service force engineer as the repair could be more complex than it would appear.

If you wish to replace the door then on most Electrolux Group ovens this is relatively simple to do. Cooker doors that are right or left hand hinged will be more complex and for this we recommend getting a qualified engineer.

Most doors have a clip at the base of the door which if lifted will unlock the door from the hinge.

Close the door to approximately 45 degrees, the door can then be lifted and replaced.

The doors can be heavy so to avoid dropping it and causing damage or injury, ensure you have a place to set the glass down that will not cause damage to the glass and where the door won’t damage the surface it is being placed on.

Some doors can have the glass panes removed separately which will reduce the weight of the door. Please refer to your user manual for more information.
