If you’re having problems with your gas or electric oven not heating up properly, check our troubleshooting guide.
If you’re uncertain whether your oven is heating correctly, use a temperature gauge that’s able to withstand the heat.
If the oven’s not heating at all, you probably have a defective heating element, either at the top or bottom. There are usually 3 elements in a multifunction oven, one which is the grill, an element around the fan at the back of the oven and one at the bottom of the oven. If any of these are not working to specification you could have uneven cooking. We recommend contacting one of our team to discuss your options to have the appliance inspected.
If your gas oven isn’t heating, the most likely cause is a problem with your ignitor or safety valve.
