If you find water leaking from your appliance, you’ll first need to turn off the taps and mains power. Now run the following checks:
Check the door is closed Most washing machines will not allow you to start the machine with the door open, however if clothes get stuck in the door or there could be a build-up of grime around the seal. Also if the rubber on the door seal starts to perish this may result in a small amount of water pooling under the appliance.
Is the machine level? Check your washing machines is placed on a level surface.
Check your water supply hose Make sure your water-supply hoses are properly connected. Check for rust, and make sure to replace if you find signs of corrosion.
Check your drain hose Ensure that your drain hoses are secured properly and not clogged.
